Great article in Yachting Monthly from 2009 about the effects of folding and feathering props on speed, stopping and prop-walk. Halara needs a prop change due to unusually high prop-walk, so we may need to consider which route to go down…

It’s been a quiet week but very relaxing. We sarted the week at Lefkas marina while we waited for the customs office to open. Lefkas Marina – 2 nights Sivota (Vibes taverna) Little Vathy, Meganisi (Karnagio taverna – our favourite place) – 2 nights Kastos (long lined to breakwater) ? Lefkas Marina

Thanks to David and Dave, Halara successfully reached its mooring in Lefkas after a punishing trip from Lavrion in Attica. Lots of lessons learnt, most important of which is don’t balance on the boom without a harness.
